Steve is an outstanding conference speaker. He has delivered a TED Talk and shared the stage with the likes of David Cameron, Seb Coe, Lord Gus O’Donnell, Baroness Fairhead, William Hague, General Sir Mike Jackson, Michael Johnson, Denise Lewis and more.

He has spoken at global conferences for Aviva, Astra Zeneca, GKN and Akzo Nobel, the annual conferences of The Marketing Society and the Faculty of Medical Leadership and, in the world of government, he has addressed all the UK Permanent Secretaries, the British Ambassadors and thousands more civil servants.

Steve is at ease with audiences of hundreds or handfuls, bringing alive his best-selling Future – Engage – Deliver approach to leadership and life.

Phyllida Hancock

Henry V – Inspirational Leadership

Phyllida is a workshop designer and facilitator. She worked as an actress and singer for 12 years, including 2 years with the Royal Shakespeare Company and in various productions in the West End and around the country.

She also taught a course on ‘Women in Shakespeare’ at Washington University in St Louis and participated in workshops and lectures on Shakespeare for several British universities.

Since 1998 she has been working in the public sector designing and delivering workshops, including 18 months running race awareness and diversity courses across the Criminal Justice System.

Since 2003 Phyllida has been an associate of Olivier Mythodrama and now of Contender Charlie, delivering workshops on inspirational leadership and change management. She continues to work with public sector clients on diversity policy and also runs creativity workshops.

Andy Buck

A geography teacher by trade, Andy went on to become a headteacher for thirteen years at two schools in East London. In the last year of headship, his school was judged outstanding in all categories and Andy was designated a National Leader of Education.

In 2009 he become a Director at the National College for School Leadership, leading on the London Challenge programme. He was subsequently responsible for setting up the government’s flagship Teaching Schools programme before being appointed as Managing Director at United Learning, one of the country’s largest academy groups.

Since 2014, Andy has founded Leadership Matters which aims to improve the educational outcomes for pupils by supporting great leadership development. Leadership Matters is a web-based membership organisation that offers school leaders access to high quality online development tools and other leadership articles, videos and blogs.

Hannah Wilson

Inclusive Leadership & Developing Talent

Hannah is the Head of Secondary School Teacher Training at the University of Buckingham. Prior to this role, Hannah was the Executive Headteacher of Aureus School and Aureus Primary School.

As the founding Headteacher of two start-up schools Hannah’s innovative leadership style and focus on a holistic education led to collaborations with a number of national organisations including Place2Be, The Art Room, VBE and SSAT.

Hannah has been heavily involved with Teaching School delivery in her roles at GLF Schools and the Harris Federation – she is a Specialist Leader of Education (SLE); a SLE train the trainer; has facilitated the NPQML and NPQSL. She designed and delivered multiple Diversity Grants to support the progression of BAME and women leaders.

As one of the co-founders of #WomenEd, a grassroots gender equality movement for women in education, Hannah advocates flexible working, champions co-leadership and support the return to teaching programme as a DFE Women Leading in Education coach. More recently Hannah has become a LeanIn Regional Leader.

Hannah is an outward-facing and collaborative leader – she is a Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching and sits on the Council; she is an Associate for Values-based Education and Leadership Matters.
